in scotland has age restrictions on college access courses been scrapped ? had a chat with a girl in college today about access courses, like ones that you take a year in college and then go into university for that specific course if you do well. not social sciences though im talking about dietetics and podiatry. she seemed quite adamant but ive heard nowt about it. i know if im really that interested i should call up a university or college and ask but im just wondering if ive just missed it like on the news or something. any help is appreciated mucho x

seriously considering moving to australia from scotland? we are in the early process of moving over to u guys in oz.. it has been a life time ambition myself and my wife have 3 young children aged 4/4 and 7..thinking of brisbane (prefferably outskirts)i work as a car mechanic and my wife a social worker..the weather here is coooooold in winter and coooold in summer mostly ..is brisbane as good as it looks ..what is the crime rate..over here it is pretty scary..are there any news papers i can subscribe to on line.. what is the price of a gallon of petrol ..do many crocs excist in the out skirts..how safe to go in the sea ..looking forward to comming anyway..

Scotland Team for Olympics, London 2012 - NO GB Team!? I cannot believe what I am hearing on the news. If Scotland get their way they want a seperate team for the 2012 Olymipcs. The England Scotland divide seems to be more of an issue for the Scots than it does us English - well I am sick of it now. If you want to be seperate then you know what you can do............. Answer 1 (link): That is just one example of an ignorant individual. Team GB is Great Britain all of us united. It is time to forget whatever happened xxx years ago. Now is NOW. As far as I am concerned it is the Scots that are filled with hate. You don't see English people supporting the rival team when Scotland are playing international football. I know what it is like when the England football team is playing - a lot of Scots are just filled with unecessary hate and I am at a loss to why.

Why is there a BBC News Special about the snow on? When it Snows in Scotland and the North of England, they don't make a special programme?? My point being that: everything centres on the South of England especially London. A news special is usually something that involves the whole country.... The news doesn't tell you how to deal with snow, just that there is snow, lots of it in one part of the country. A Scottish DJ has just summed it up. Schools down south were closed last night in preparation for the snow?? Schools in Scotland only close when they absolutely have to. There is more to England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland than one city. I am fed up of everything revolving around the South. Even the blooming weather forecast misses Yorkshire out.
