help needed very quickly (nothing very serious though)?

ya see, I gt a general knowledge quiz with my school 2morro morning....and yes, I have left it late to study for it, but I've won every year except last, I believe my general knowledge has deteriorated slightly... how, through use of the internet, can I improve my general knowledge? categories are usually sport, news, maths, and an overall random general knowledge section......occasionally they show us pictures from plavces in scotland and we have to tell what the famous place is etc. massive credit to any1 who can help me out within the next 1/2 hour....

1. Read some news sites - Google News, Sky News, BBC etc. This will get your mind in gear for absorbing information. Now try some quizzes at funtrivia.com - there's loads of topics and they're graded from "beginner" to "tough". Although you're unlikely to take in loads of information by "cramming", it's probably that you'll set your mind not just for absorbing information, but you'll find it easier to recall information that you already know.
2. Tomorrow??!! About the best advice I can give for that time frame would be to go to the appropriate categories here on Y!A and read Q's and A's all night.
